 About Dallah Al Baraka Holding:
Dallah is holding group based in Saudi Arabia. Dallah has pioneered
in major public works and provided operations and maintenance support services
to airports and air navigation systems. In Addition, subsidiaries provided cleaning
and maintenance of Madinah, Holy Makkah and its pilgrimage sites. Another division
of Dallah Al Baraka is the media division that is represented by the ART
Channels. Dallah owns financial groups and banks in the Middle East too like Al
Baraka Bank.

The Challenge:
Dallah had three major challenges. The first was to automate
the scholarship program that provides educational scholarships for students in
different KSA universities. The second challenge was to distribute a Dallah internal
newsletter among more than 50 companies. The third challenge is to have a
professional web presence (portal) to publish all this content and applications
online with different access levels.
The Solution:
Ethos provided an application development tool over
its ECM platform. Forms, fill controls, and email alerts helped Dallah team
build quickly a complete application. Since Ethos platform is integrated with
an enterprise portal, with one click Dallah published the application for the
public to fill scholarship applications online.
In addition to the application development, Ethos Portal has
complete content management functionalities. So Dallah used Ethos CMS to enter,
index and retrieve the newsletter issues and topics while using the same
interface. After the newsletters are entered, Dallah had the opportunity to
publish them online with a single click and push them to other companies.
Dallah took advantage of Ethos website content management features
to quickly build a website and give the opportunity for Dallah subsidiaries to
publish online content directly over the portal after an approval from the PR
department in the Dallah head quarters.
